Obituary of Jonelda Jeter
Jonelda Jeter was born August 7, 1936 to the parentage of Linus Fite and Mattie Mae Fite in Beckville, Texas. She united with St. Paul Baptist in Tatum, Texas at an early age. She graduated from Mayflower High School.
She married Jesse Jeter in 1960 and moved to Dallas, Texas and to this union 2 children were born.
Jonelda worked as a CAN and later attended El Centro College where she became a medication aide and worked caring for others until the retired. She found joy in taking care of people. She enjoyed talking to everyone and did not meet a stranger She was also the family historian as she did not forget anything. If someone needed information about the past, we could always call Sis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lawrence Fite.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory Jeter (Trecia) and their children Jhron and Koyauna, Roderick Jeter (Lisa). 1 brother Drenon Fite of Tatum, Texas, 3 sisters, Grace Young(Deflora) Apple Valley, CA, Charlene Solis, Grand Prairie, Texas, Felma Jackson (Walter) Corona, CA and sister-in-law Evelyn Fite and a host of nieces and nephews, especially Sharon, Darrell and Willie Adams.
